I’ve come to the conclusion that age has little if anything to do with how sexy a woman is. There’s an older chick at work that has to be 30-33 and is so incredibly sexy…. mother of GOD. First off, she has the most amazing body, second she’s a redhead… not only that, she walks with perfect posture, has an amazing smile and is just incredibly classy. Basically every way you look at her, she’s just plain sexy. Anyway, there are definitely enough cute girls at work to make even my worst days there a bit brighter. That’s cool because now they instituted a new policy saying that there is to be NO personal e-mail at work whatsoever. It’s always been in the handbook but was never strictly enforced… now, though, since 3 fucking cunts decided to exchange mass personal e-mails over the past few days, many of which had explicit content, we’re no longer allowed to e-mail one another while at work. FUCKING GAY! Now if I want to find out what time someone is going to lunch, I have to get up and walk over there and ask them… how fucking stupid is that? Hopefully they’ll decide to cool off on enforcing the rule after awhile. I can understand them bitching about mass quantities of personal e-mail, but just shooting a message to someone asking about what they’re doing for lunch shouldn’t be a problem, if you ask me.. but whatever… stupid corporate bullshit as usual. Overall, the job seems to be about the easiest job I’ve ever done… In a nutshell, people call me when they get their equipment shipped to set up appointments to have their DirecTV installed. I get paid $9.45 an hour to sit on my ass and say “ok, hang on while I call your installer”, dial their number, say “hey, I’ve got so-and-so on the line from so-and-so city and they need an install appointment”, conference the two in, drop off the line, and note the account. OK, so some calls are a bit more difficult when snags in the system come about, but for the most part, that’s all I do. I can’t complain at all. My trainer thinks I’m the fucking shit and wants to make me a Senior CSR, which comes with a little more responsibility, but also a raise. They do more in-depth troubleshooting and have a little more power. I could go for that, but I guess I need to impress a few people while I’m out on the floor. Either way, I think I can deal with this job. We’ll see how it goes.
