Marilyn Manson’s new CD “The Golden Age of Grotesque” is surprisingly good… I can’t say I’ve been much of a fan since his song “The Beautiful People”, but this one is a VERY good CD… I downloaded it last night and must say I’m impressed. Too bad the rest of his stuff isn’t this good. A smattering of classic lines (such as “You are the church/I am the steeple/When we fuck, we are all God’s people..”) makes it even better. He’s always been well known for his shock value and he definitely does well in that respect on this CD. I’d definitely recommend it for any Manson fans… and even for some people who had written him off as just a faded out shock rocker. Currently, as I type this, I’m listening to Hanzel und Gretyl’s newest CD “Uber Alles” from beginning to end, which I have yet to do. It’s not quite as good as the Manson CD, but I definitely dig the guitar riffs and the screaming Americanized German lyrics. Oh well… I also picked up a 750mL bottle of Ketel One vodka for $16.50 tonight, which is nearly $4 off.. I just couldn’t pass that deal up. I <3 vodka, especially GOOD vodka. One of the guys at the liquor store said it was one of the best vodkas he’d ever had and would definitely recommend it. I’ll try it out later and report back on how good it really is. Obviously the only way to tell just how good a vodka is…. shoot it straight. I tried some Vox at Fiction one time and it’s fucking amazing. I’d almost NOT mix it… that’s how good it is. Only problem is that it’s $27 for a 750mL bottle. 
I’ll be mixing the Ketel One with some Tropicana Twister, the flavors of which escape me at the moment. I wish I had someone to drink with, which is why I’m waiting for this chick Megan that Steve is talking to. She said she was coming back @ 10:30, but she’s not back yet. I know she can/will drink, as I’ve seen her nail 7 beers and a shot of straight 151 proof rum. Phil’s supposedly having this Carrie chick from his work coming over. I saw her when I worked there for my whopping week and a half.. she’s reasonably cute, except for the fact that her ass looks like the underpants gnomes have been playing golf back there and not replacing their divots… cottage cheese anyone? I thought cottage cheese was only supposed to be used in lasagna & with pineapples. 
Oh, well… that’s all I have to say for now.. I’ll continue to update throughout the night.. perhaps a post or two while drunk as fuck. This might be interesting.

First off, this chick’s site is really nice.. and she rocks serious nuts… Her name’s Rachael and she lives in Michigan… oddly enough I started talking to her because of camwhores.com, but now that I no longer have a membership on there, we talk off and on occasionally. She’s frickin adorable, for one… and two, she’s actually cool to talk to and can hold down a decent conversation… anyway here’s the link.
Second of all, I’d like to say that Hanzel und Gretyl are fucking great. They’re from NY but sing all their songs in German. Not quite proper German, but German nonetheless. Basically, they’re a tongue-in-cheek poke at most German industrial bands out there, it seems. I just downloaded their newest CD “Uber Alles” (note the missing umlaut–they do also manage to pronounce uber incorrectly) and I was pretty impressed. The guitar riffs are pretty tight and overall the CD’s not bad. Not unfuckingbelievable, but a good listen. I’d give it 3.5 stars outta 5. I wouldn’t buy it, but it was worth the download. I also snagged the new one from A Perfect Cirle, “13th Step”. I listened to a bit of it on my way to Taco Bell with Jaia and it sounded really good. He also said that in fact it’s an excellent CD. Josh also said it was good and informed me that tickets for their 11/13 show go on sale this Saturday. Too bad I’m short on cash and won’t have the money to buy tickets just yet. The show’s close to my birthday (11/29), so it’d be nice to go. I’ll see what I can come up with.
Anyway, I guess it’s off to attempt to sleep, since I have to get up at 8am and be at work at 9… thankfully, tomorrow’s the last day of that bullshit…. ta-ta fucktards.
