I think I need to start blogging more… it’s a good release of stress, I suppose, and I don’t really update anywhere near often enough. I actually have friends bitching at me to update my blog. Problem is, I lead a relatively uninteresting life. Well, at least I don’t consider it all that interesting. I suppose I could post every mundane and unimportant thought that passes through my head in a given day, but that’d be a shitload of typing and not terribly interesting to read. I’m quite the scatterbrained kind of person and I go off on tangents throughout a conversation almost constantly. Unfortunately, it seems to drive my friends nuts because I’ll be talking about one thing, which will remind me of something else, so I’ll drop the initial subject and just go on about that for awhile until something spurs a thought about something else, so then it’s off on yet another tangent. Honestly, there’s no telling where a conversation with me might go. It’s almost comical, to be honest. The other thing is that I talk REALLY fucking fast in person a lot of times, which is particularly unnerving to slow-speaking southerners. The reason that all this even came up was the fact that I was on the way back from the liquor store with Sam (he wanted me to buy him liquor since I’m over 21 and he’s under) when I did just what I’ve been going on about… tangent conversations… I bought him a 1.75L bottle of Southern Comfort and I was talking about how it was nasty, which reminded me how much I REALLY hate Wild Turkey, which reminded me that Shaun made me try 2 drinks with that shit in them on Saturday night while I was really drunk, which reminded me that I was so drunk that I asked Bethany why she was so perfect, which reminded me that she IS perfect, which reminded me that she was wearing a catholic schoolgirl outfit with knee-high leather boots… and so on until we got back to the house and the conversation was over. He mentioned to me somewhere in that whole conversation that I go off on tangents all the time and I just talk faster and faster as I go along and he finds it amusing. I’m sure most of my friends would agree that yes, it IS amusing, and frankly I find it rather amusing myself. I’m actually even more fun to talk to when I’m drunk, because for some reason I really like to get into in-depth conversations about the most inane things (yes, inane not “insane”). I dunno, I guess I’m just one of those people whose brains is always going 65477687435867 miles a second. Right now, I’m just insanely bored, so I’m just spewing random bullshit. I’m listening to www.bassdrive.com and rather enjoying it, but that’s pretty normal when the Chicago boys (as we call them) are spinning. Bassdrive broadcasts a lot of live DJ shows and almost all of them are REALLY damn good. The guys from Chicago (Phix, Zew, and the rest of the crew) are just amazing, though. Every time I tune in, I swear I hear some shit I’ve never heard anywhere before. Makes me wish I had mad skillz, yo. I love electronic music and it’d actually be kinda cool to have the talent to be a decent DJ. *sigh* anyway… I think I’m fucking hungry again, which irks me simply because like 5 hrs ago, I just had a double whopper value meal king sized from BK and now I’m hungry again. What gives? The more I eat, the more I want to eat. My metabolism is so ungodly fucktarded. ugh. Anyway, back to my quest of finding someone intelligent to talk to and possibly to go get some food at some point.
