The Cynic Says……

Humm… it’s 4:15am and I’m bored… I’m not the least bit tired and there’s not really anyone online worth talking to… I’ve been listening to some pretty kickass techno on www.ohmytrance.com for the past couple of hours. Only problem is that the site itself doesn’t work worth a fuck. Normally, I just have to go to www.shoutcast.com and hunt it down in the list. Either way, it’s a great trance stream and is actually at 192kbps, which is considerably better than anything else on the net. I’ve been debating on playing some more Call of Duty single player, since it’s actually pretty fun. Multiplayer is ok, but it’s entirely too hectic and deathmatch-heavy. I prefer Wolfenstein Enemy Territory because of the objective-based gameplay. Kent’s been playing Unreal Tournament 2004 for the past hour or to. Pretty cool game, but still not really my type. The graphics are fucking beautiful, to say the least. They’ve kinda taken a page from Halo by actually incorporating vehicles into this release. Unfortunately, only the demo is out right now, so only having 1 map per gametype is fucking gay. I might consider buying it once it comes out in stores. This weekend on the whole has been rather uneventful… I drank a little on Friday night, but didn’t get hammered. We bought some Kahlua Especial (70 proof), Bailey’s Irish Cream, and some Amaretto… made a couple white Russians and then I just had another random drink I made with vodka, chambord, and sprite. Turned out ok, but I didn’t drink all that much overall. Saturday was Valentine’s Day… I did nothing but buy myself a new computer case and spent an hour or so moving all my components over to the new case. Then came today… nothing at all happened worth mentioning. Hell, I didn’t even leave the fucking house! Ate macaroni & cheese for dinner.. played Wolfenstein, talked to some friends online.. woo woo, exciting day! Tomorrow is another work day, followed by an off day on Tuesday, then I work everyday until Sunday. Joy for my fucked up schedule. I’m out for now… I’m sure I’ll have more to blog about tomorrow.
