A couple of random thoughts before I go to work in 30 minutes. First off, I hate the phrase “fixin to”. It’s so ridiculously redneck and makes you sound completely unintelligent. It’s just so grammatically incorrect.. ugh…. The other one I hate is when people use “done” instead of “already”… like “I done took out the garbage”…. or “I done left work and now I’m fixin to go get me some food. ” Ugh, the joys of living in the south. Oh, and it’s another nice day outside, which means I’d really rather not have to go to work. Oh well… 2:30-11, here I come.
