This is pathetic… 3:30 and I’m just now more or less getting up. Then again, I went to sleep at like 7am. Thankfully I’m off today, so I don’t have to worry about being late for work (I’d already be there otherwise). One of my roommates STILL isn’t even up yet! He went to bed after me at some point. Not that either of us have to BE anywhere today… about the only thing that needs to be done all day is yard work, so beyond that, I get to sit around and enjoy a day off. It’s about 80, so in a couple of hrs it’ll cool down enough so that doing the lawn won’t suck major goat ass. I’m still not even completely awake as it is. I may actually end up growing some balls and calling this girl that I sorta have this thing for or something. I saw her on Saturday for the first time in what seemed like forever (about 9 months since I’d last seen her anywhere but a club). I have her number, I just have no clue if she actually wants me to call her or not, so I end up thinking way too much and not doing anything. I suppose part of me would rather sit and wonder if she’s interested than to risk it and find out that she’s totally not interested…. I know that’s pretty jacked up, but that article below on geeks pretty much says it all. If you haven’t read it yet, it’s definitely worth a look. On another note, I’ve decided that jungletrain.net is infinitely better than bassdrive or dnbradio.net. Even though it’s in a lower bitrate, you can’t tell the difference between the two and jungletrain just plain plays better music. The only thing about dnbradio that I do like is the fact that it allows you to request songs. Oh, well… that’s all for my boring first post of the day… maybe more to come later.

Check out the new “SkyPE me” button on the left… If you’re not familiar with Skype, it’s an application that lets you make computer to computer “phone calls” for free to anywhere in the world as long as they’re connected to the internet and running the program. Check it out if you haven’t already Skype. The sound quality is actually VERY good (better than any cellphone) except that I’ve not really had the opportunity to play with it much. It even works behind firewalls and NAT! It’d be a lot more kickass if more people used it.
