Well, nothing important to speak of today… Just another boring day.. I worked, came home, did nothing. No big deal. One thing I did discover is just how cool Launchcast is. Basically, it’s streaming radio that you control. If you don’t like an artist or song, just give it a low rating and you won’t hear it again, provided you’re not listening to one of the pre-made stations they give you. Basically, you sign in with your Yahoo username, edit your station, pick the genres you like most, and it plays songs from those genres. Then as you start rating stuff, it learns what you like and don’t like. It plays the stuff you rate highly and ignores the stuff you don’t rate so highly. It’s basically radio YOUR way. For $4 a month, you get a shitload of extra features and access to a LOT more music in much better quality. I’m paying the $4 a month because it’s worth it, hands down. I’m diggin it. Check out my station here. Obviously it works best if you have a high speed connection, but it DOES work on dialup (lower quality, though). I’ve been fucking with it all night… They even have videos too. How fucking cool is that?
