I’ve been toying around with my blog and found this really fucking amazing add-on called PhpGiggle. Basically it parses words into links when you load the page. Neat shit. You make a list of words you want it to look for and then tell it what links you want to turn it into. So I can have it turn the word Yahoo into a link to www.yahoo.com everytime it appears in my blog. I’ve got a decent word list at the moment, but I’ll add more as I see fit. I’ve been changing colors around a bit… playing with font sizes on the headings and such. I’ve also updated the links section considerably. I’ll keep adding new stuff as I find it, so keep checking back. I’m such a fucking GEEK! But hey, I love it.

Jesus what a fucking day… It actually started last night when I get a call from one of my friends saying that my other good friend is in jail for shoplifting and posession of a handgun illegally. He’s 20 and owns a handgun, but the law is that you must be 21 to do so. Needless to say, as of last night, all I knew was that he’d been trying to steal shit and got busted with a handgun as well. So we couldn’t find a bondsman to get him out yesterday…. Cut to today and we finally get a bondsman to get him out. We go to the detention center and meet the bondsman, pay his bond at about 2:30 and wait for him to get out… and wait… and wait… and wait… and wait…. 7:00 rolls around and he finally gets out. So we’ve wasted the better part of a day waiting for those fucktards at the jail to process him and let him go. So he gets out and we get the REAL story from him. Turns out he and his friend went to Wal-Mart.. his friend was stealing a razor and some shaving cream. My friend knew security was watching, so he kept telling dude to drop the shit and not take it… well, he goes to the bathroom and dude tries to split with the stuff… they catch him, detain him… and then when my friend comes outta the bathroom, they detain him too because they know the two of them were together. So they get taken to the security room and such and are about to leave with just citations when he gets up and the guy says “hey, what’s that in your pocket?”… well, it’s his gun, he pulls it out, and there’s how he ended up in jail. Anyway, he’s out now and that’s all that matters… As far as anything else interesting happening, nothing else really important.
I ran across a couple interesting things though. First “a really interesting article”:http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,,1617927,00.asp in eWeek about Internet Explorer and how horribly insecure it is. Also a friend sent me this really interesting write-up by an anonymous author. It’s kinda an editorial.. It’s just called “Hell Yeah”:uploads/hellyeah.doc because after you read it, you’ll just go hell yeah.
