Interesting geek stuff… haha… Apparently most of the laptop manufacturers out there don’t actually build their own laptops.. They have another company build it and then the company’s name that goes on it puts in the CPU, RAM, and HD and then ships it out the door with their name on it. Dell, HP, and Compaq for example don’t manufacture their own notebooks… HP does make some of their own, but most are made by third parties. I also find this nice chart giving info on just about every single x86 cpu in circulation today.
