I’ve now registered a neat new domain name for my site… http://cryogenic.doesntexist.org will still work, but I’d prefer that you use “http://www.whatthefcuk.info”:http://www.whatthefcuk.info for my blog and “http://gallery.whatthefcuk.info”:http://gallery.whatthefcuk.info for my gallery. It was something random I thought up while at work. It’s mildly amusing. Just thought I’d let everyone know. The old domain name will still work for a little while. I might kill it soon, though.

Holy shit… Google just posted an entry to their blog saying that they’ve doubled their index to include 8 billion pages now. That’s an insane amount of data. They say that it’s a decent chunk of what’s available on the web, but certainly not all of it. I’m not even sure it’s possible to index every single page on the web today, but they’re trying damn hard to do it. I know google indexes my page quite a bit, since I actually get hits with “googlebot” as the user-agent string. I do tend to check my stats quite a bit just out of sheer curiosity. At any rate, “here’s the link”:http://www.google.com/googleblog/ to the actual post in their blog about them doubling their index. Looks like the search engine war is heating up even more after Yahoo split off and did their own thing with their search engine no longer using google’s technology. Now MSN is set to unveil a new search engine using Yahoo’s technology as well. Currently it’s in beta though I haven’t used it as of yet. Pretty interesting stuff if you’re a geek.
The title says it all… Girls plain and simple don’t want a guy that they can control, walk all over, train, and make their “pet” basically. They want a guy who has a strong personality and actually can stand up for himself on occasion. That’s not to say girls want to be treated like shit, but they really DON’T want to be put up on a pedestal and worshipped like some sort of goddess. They want to be treated with respect and not treated like an OBJECT. What people don’t seem to understand is that by doing things like telling them they’re beautiful everyday, buying them things, complimenting them in general all the time, telling them how you feel all the time, always agreeing with them, changing yourself to “make them happy”, you’re basically saying to them “Well, I know you wouldn’t want me on my regular merits alone, so I have to make all this effort to impress you so you’ll want me.” Telling a girl she’s beautiful everyday in and of itself is acceptable, however you should not feel as though you HAVE to tell her everyday and just because you don’t tell her for a couple of days, she’s not going to disown you/ditch you. While the girl may “give you a chance” and date you for a short time, she ends up keeping you around until finally your act wears thin and she finds someone she’s actually attracted to and gives her somewhat of a challenge. That’s just the way life goes… think about it. Which are you going to cherish more? Something that you didn’t have to work to get or something you had to bust your ass to get and keep? That’s right, the second one. Relationships are the same way.
