So yeah, I signed up for Yahoo Music Unlimited, which lets me listen to music on demand for $7/mo… basically almost anything I want to listen to, I can at the click of a mouse. Very nice. So yeah, flipping through the industrial music they have available, I ran across VNV Nation’s new CD and can’t help but be impressed. It’s definitely darkwave industrial in the lyrical sense but the actual music is downright dance-able. The first single “Chrome”is actually quite addictive with a great dance beat behind it. Overall I’d give the CD a 7.5 or an 8. Highly recommended if you’re into industrial dance.
