November 26th at the Masquerade in Atlanta Spor & Evol Intent are having a CD release party. My friend Steve and I have decided this is just one of those shows we CANNOT miss. Evol Intent and Spor are two of the sickest producers/DJ’s I’ve ever laid ears on in my life. This show will be absolute sickness to the max. I can’t wait. It’s on a Saturday night, which is really nice since I’m off.. It’s also the weekend before my birthday, so that gives me a hell of an excuse to celebrate like a motherfucker. I’ve only once done something worthwhile around my birthday and that was like 4 yrs ago when I went to Washington DC to see Dave Ralph. This show will be so much better since DnB > Trance anyday. Hopefully it’ll be more than just Steve and I going… I’m kinda hoping my friend Andy goes and maybe a couple more people. I found a decent hotel for $50 a night only a half a mile from the venue. Doesn’t look like too much of a dump from the pictures and for $50 a night, who’s complaining. There’s tons of stuff to do in downtown Atlanta so it should be a fun weekend, no doubt. The thing that really kicks ass is the fact that the show is just $8 admission. Seems that jungle shows are cheap to get into, unlike trance shows. I generally have paid $15-20 admission for trance DJ’s in the past… Paul VanDyk is going to be in Atlanta sometime next week and his tickets are $25 pre-order and like $30 or something at the door. Yet again, dnb > trance. Oh well… I’m excited… can’t wait.
