I’ve been a big fan of Bill Hicks’ comedy for a year or so now… and I was bored, looking on YouTube and ran across some of his videos. I’ll admit that I wasn’t into him when he was actually alive and I’m kinda upset that I never discovered him back when he was in his prime. I was a big fan of Dennis Leary back in the day and now that I’ve watched Bill Hicks I realize where Mr. Leary got most of his material. Kinda makes Dennis seem a whole lot less cool, ya know? In any case, these are far from politically correct and if you’re the type to be
easily offended, don’t bother watching.

I found this video on another site, but it’s seriously funnier than shit. Apparently a European prank show (like candid camera or something similar) digs a huge hole in a walking trail and then disguises it. Hilarity ensues. This would definitely not go over well in the US; people would be filing lawsuits left and right in our lawsuit-happy culture. Regardless, here’s the video.

This time Stephen Colbert does his “Better Know a District” segment with the congresswoman from the District of Columbia. Hilarity ensues, just watch!

Most of you probably haven’t heard of him, but this Pablo Francisco dude is just funnier than shit. I’ve found a couple of videos of him on Youtube and google video and I can’t help but laugh my ass off at his routines. He has one where he does his impression of the voice-over that you hear in most movie previews and whatnot. Amusing as shit and pretty much spot-on. He could do the voice-overs himself! Anyway, here’s a couple of videos I found
This one’s 45 or so minutes long, so be warned. If you’re not on cable or dsl don’t bother.

Good lord this dude is ridiculous. He’s playing this Korean knockoff of DDR called “Pump It Up” and basically just freestyles it on doubles. Absolutely ridiculous. Dude can flat out dance. I seriously wish I had the ability to dance, especially like that. Color me jealous.
Dont Bother Me
another awesome routine of smidget!

For what it’s worth, he’s apparently from Charlotte, NC and even has a myspace page

This video is from the 1950’s and apparently was distributed to schools and whatnot as education on what to do if the atomic bomb gets dropped… "If you see the flash, duck and cover". Let me be the first to say, if you see the flash the only thing ducking and covering is going to do is allow you to kiss your ass goodbye. An atomic bomb will literally vaporize anything within a pretty good radius of ground zero and utterly demolish anything within several miles. Still an amusing video to watch!

As I said before, I’ll try to post a video each day that I find incredibly funny or just plain crazy. Well, today’s video comes from the “just plain crazy” category for sure. Basically it’s a dude in Portugal on a Hayabusa on some highway who hits 320km/h. Now for those of you not on the up and up about conversions, that translates to 198mph. 198mph on a motorcycle is just plain fucking nuts if you ask me. I don’t even know that I’d feel safe at that speed in a car (not that there are many that will do that sort of speed anyway), but on a MOTORCYCLE? fuck no! Anyway, here’s the video courtesy of google video yet again.

I’ve decided I’m going to start posting a “video of the day” type thing every morning while I’m bored at work. Sometimes I might post two or three, but I’ll normally make a point to make it one. Today’s video is called “Karaoke for the deaf”. While it’s not as funny as the ipecac video I posted the other day, this one’s still kinda cute.

Man drinks ipecac… hilarity ensues
I swear I haven’t laughed that hard in a REALLY long time. Seriously… Then again I have a warped sense of humor so that figures that I would find it so funny. Regardless, some dude for some show somewhere (none of which is told in the video) pays a guy to drink ipecac. What happens afterwards may very well be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen posted on the web. Wow.. just wow!

I found the link via digg, but the video itself is hosted on youtube.com… Basically it shows all kinds of evidence and expert opinions pointing at the fact that the world trade center towers were taken down by explosives in a controlled demolition and not by the planes like the commission said. While pretty much all the evidence points at this and the “pancake theory” is 100% implausible given the construction of the towers, most people still prefer to believe the “official story” simply because the “controlled demolition” theory opens up a whole new can of worms that most people would rather not get into or even think about. Could the government really have orchestrated the whole thing? WOULD our government actually do such a thing? Unfortunately we’ll never know for absolute certain because all the physical evidence from the buildings (namely the steel columns) was carted off and shipped to Asia to be melted down. That’s right, no analysis done on the physical evidence from the rubble at all… Not to mention all the concrete and office equipment was pulverized into a fine dust. Hell, at that point, the government could have said that aliens from outer space did it and nobody would have been able to irrefutably prove otherwise. I guess this is another JFK-type thing in which we’ll never really know what EXACTLY happened on that day, but we can come up with our own theories as to how it happened.
